Men: Shirt with collars and sleeves (mock collars included), slacks, denim (no rips, tears, or holes) or Bermuda length shorts are considered appropriate. Shirts must be tucked in, unless designated specifically to be untucked (e.g. Tommy Bahama, Untuckit brand, other fashion-forward manufacturers). The fashions seen on the PGA tour are also acceptable. Tank tops, sport tee-shirts, mesh shirts, denim, sweatpants, warm-up suits, swim wear, short shorts, cut-offs, gym shorts, tennis outfits or other athletic shorts are not permitted. All headwear must be front facing.

Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, denim (no rips, tears, or holes), shorts of reasonable length, blouses, sleeveless shirts with collars, and collarless shirts with sleeves are considered appropriate attire. (shirt does not need to be tucked). Fashions seen on the LPGA tour are also acceptable. Halter tops, sport tee shirts, cut-offs, denim, sweatpants, warm-up suits, swim wear, tennis dresses, short shorts or other athletic shorts are not permitted. All headwear must be front facing.

Shoes: Appropriate golf shoes are required for all golfers. Football, soccer or other large knobby spike shoes, non-golf specific sandals or flip flops are not allowed. Tennis shoes or other soft sole shoes are subject to the approval of the golf professional on duty. Use of traditional metal spikes is not permitted.

This dress code is mandatory for all players. Improperly dressed golfers shall be asked to change before playing. If you are in doubt concerning your attire, please check with the Golf Shop before starting play.

Members are responsible for communicating these rules to their guests.

Weather Advisory

It is the sole responsibility of each golfer to assess weather conditions and immediately leave the course if dangerous conditions exist or are threatened.

USGA Rules of Golf (Rule 6-8) allow players to discontinue play if they believe there is a danger from lightning.

Golfers must always use common sense in determining when to leave the course.

Golf

The rules and etiquette of golf as adopted by the USGA shall be adopted by the Club, except when Local Rules modify the Rules of Golf and are authorized by the USGA.

All guests of Members must register in the Golf Shop prior to starting their round and sign up for all applicable golf fees.

All players must return to the Golf Shop to obtain a second tee time and pay any applicable golf fees prior to the second round of golf.

Practice is not allowed on the golf courses. The Practice Facilities should be used for all practice.

Pace of Play: As a courtesy to all Members, we ask that all golfers attempt to play in four (4) hours or less. This amount of time should be more than adequate, provided all players remain aware of the responsibilities of others to play without delay. It is the responsibility of each group to keep pace with the group ahead. The Golf Shop shall have the ability to enforce the pace of play. It is each group’s responsibility to be observant of its position on the course and keep pace. The golf staff has the authority to keep play moving at the proper pace for all players’ enjoyment. Players unable to keep proper pace may be requested to leave the course or skip holes keeping them in position with the field.

If a player is repeatedly warned for slow play, the Club may take such action as it deems appropriate, including without limitation, restricting the person’s use of the golf course during certain times of the day.

All players who stop after playing nine holes for any reason must occupy the next tee before the following players arrive at the tee or they will lose their position on the golf course and must get permission from the Golf Shop to resume play.

All tournament play must be approved in advance by the golf professional staff.

Enter and leave bunkers at the nearest level point to the green and smooth sand over with a rake upon leaving. USGA recommends that rakes be placed outside bunkers and parallel to the line of play.

Repair all ball marks on the green.

Repair divots with the sand provided on the golf cart.

Each player must have his or her own set of golf clubs (rental clubs are available through the Golf Shop.)

If lightning is in the area, all play shall cease.

Jogging, bicycling or recreational walking is not permitted on the golf courses at any time during hours of play, unless specific permission is provided by Club Management.

No beverage coolers containing alcohol are permitted on the course unless provided by the Club.

Faster groups have the right of way over slower groups when applicable.

Singles and twosomes have no priority on the golf course and will be permitted to play only at the discretion of the Golf Shop.

Singles and twosomes shall be grouped with other players, if available, at the discretion of the Golf Shop.

All Accompanied Guest fees and cart fees must be charged to a Member account or to a credit card. Merchandise can be charged to Member account or a credit card.

Groups larger than four players require special permission from the Head Golf Professional.  If granted you must play within the Pace of Play guidelines.

Only food and beverage provided by the Club are permitted on the golf course.

Club-sponsored golf tournaments and weekly Member events have priority of the Club and could restrict golf course and practice facility access during those dates to tournament participants only.

Designated Members and spouses over the age of 17 are privileged to participate in Club tournaments. Dependents age 17 and older are eligible to participate in Gentlemen’s and Ladies Day events. If dependents are under age 17, eligibility for participation is at the discretion of the Head Golf Professional.

Juniors under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult Member or Member’s spouse. Juniors under the age of 14 may not secure a starting time for the purpose of playing with three other juniors without the prior approval of the Golf Shop personnel.

Separate junior tournament activities will be offered throughout the year to encourage junior Members to become involved in golf.

Hours of Operation

The operation of the golf course is seasonal and may not be open during the late fall, winter and early spring seasons. During this “off season” period the golf course is assumed to be closed to general member and guest play unless noted as open on the online tee sheet or by calling the Golf Shop for a tee time.

To ensure the safety of all members and guests, the course closes at dusk each day. Members and guests are asked not to drive on the golf course after dark as there are many hazards not readily visible in the dark.

Cart

Rental golf carts shall not be used by a Member or guest on the Club Facilities without proper assignment and registration in the Golf Shop.

Private golf carts are not permitted on the golf course or golf course cart paths without registering with the Club and paying an annual Trail Fee.  The Trail Pass can be revoked at any time at the discretion of the Club.

Golf carts may only be used on the golf courses when the courses are open for play.

Rental golf cart fees are established each calendar year but are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Club.

Each operator of a golf cart must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid automobile driver’s license.

Only two persons and two sets of golf clubs are permitted per golf cart.

Pull carts and follow behind golf carts are permitted.

Golf carts must remain on cart paths on all par three holes except for Hole 5 which only has cart paths at the tee and green.  Upon leaving the tee boxes golf carts are to return to the path at the green (located on the right side).

Golf carts must always remain a minimum of 30 feet from all greens and tee boxes.

Driving in any area other than fairways, rough areas and cart paths is strictly prohibited. Any cart(s) found to be in non-designated areas (fescue and desert areas) will be subject to loss of golf cart privileges.

The golf course superintendent or the golf professional staff will determine whether golf course conditions necessitate any restrictions of golf carts.

Golf cart fees are charged on a per round basis.

Private golf cart storage is available on an “as available” basis.

Golf cart traffic signs are to be always obeyed.

The operation of a golf cart is at the risk of the operator. Persons who are legally intoxicated may not operate a golf cart. Each Member and guest of the Club shall be held fully responsible for all damages, including damages to the golf cart, that are caused by the misuse of the golf cart by the Member, his or her family Members or guests, or guests of the Club and shall reimburse the Club for all damages which may be sustained by reason of misuse.

Each Member and guest of the Club accepts and assumes all responsibility for liability connected with operation of a golf cart. The Member and guest of the Club also expressly indemnifies and agrees to hold harmless the Indemnified Parties from all damages, whether direct or consequential, arising from or related to use and operation of the golf cart.

Violations of the golf cart rules may result in loss of golf cart privileges and/or playing privileges.

Etiquette

Members and guests should make every effort to keep the golf courses in the best possible condition by assisting in repairing ball marks, filling divots with sand and raking sand bunkers.

Please smooth the bunker sand and rake parallel to the direction of play. Upon completion, the rake should be placed outside the bunker, parallel to the direction of play.

Ball mark repair tools are provided by the Club to assist players in repairing ball marks. Ball marks should be repaired by pinching the turf inward to the center, with a downward motion, preventing the greens mix from rising above the turf. Upon making a divot in a turf area, please fill the divot with sand and level.

As pace of play is critical for the enjoyment of all players, we ask that groups complete their round according to the pace of play guidelines set forth by the golf shop. Please allow faster groups to play through. The golf staff is available for additional assistance and direction. Some suggestions are:

  • Anticipate the clubs you will need and play ready golf.
  • Do not waste time.
  • Be ready to play when it is your turn.
  • Promptly leave the green when completed and precede to the next tee, where scores can be marked.
  • When approaching a green, park your golf cart out of the line of play.
